Museum Quality Wood Carving Restorations

A leading sneaker manufacturer approached us with a piece in disrepair. It was based on their logo at their orient headquarters. We carefully refit the broken pieces and also glued in new blocks of wood where nothing was found. We carved the repair area and carved the whole thing anew again. I then approached the client and suggested a finish on the carving and also a mahogany hardwood backing so that the carving piece would stand out with contrast and strength. They liked the idea immediately, so what started out as a logo turned out to be a museum work of art at their US headquarters. I have done other reliefs using contrast and I feel it shows off the carving and design well.
