Hand Carved Lettering in Hardwood Plaques

A photo does not capture the depth you see in carved lettering. It all tends to look flat so I took this close-up at an angle to give you a better sense of incised lettering. This is one of the many plaques I did for Harvard University. As close as this photo is, it still does not represent the beauty you see when you are present in front of it. Carved plaques have dimension to them and that adds a lot to their character.
